Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a Marketing and Social Media Coordinator? Our girl Lauren has been kind enough to take you on what a typical day looks like for her here at TJ SWIM.
WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU DO ONCE YOU ARRIVE INTO THE OFFICE?
Honestly, I go straight to the coffee machine and make my morning coffee. I am definitely not a morning person. Without my coffee I could very well fall asleep at my desk.
WHAT ARE YOUR TYPICAL DAY TO DAY TASKS?
Different days have different tasks but usually I'm replying to all our lovely comments on all our social channels, planning photoshoots, overseeing brand and influencer partnerships, curating & scheduling TJ Swim social content, and optimising paid advertising and email marketing.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT TJ SWIM FOR?
I have been with TJ now for a year and a half. Fun fact I actually started as an Influencer and Social Media assistant with TJ Swim while interning and completing my study at Orana Fashion business College. Fast forward a year and a half and here we are.
WHAT’S THE BEST PART ABOUT YOUR JOB?
I actually look forward to Monday’s, catching up with the girls, hearing all the goss and getting major inspo on the best bars/restaurants. The girls are definitely foodies. But more importantly, seeing our planning come to life, there is nothing more rewarding than when our vision comes together, especially when our customers love the collections just as much as we do.
WHAT ARE YOUR 2 FAVOURITE BIKINI STYLES?
My two favourite bikinis would have to be from our latest collection Sunseeker, the Camille bikini in our new shade Moss and the Sofia bikini in Spice.
